My brain feels as messy as my desk today, I have so many ideas and plans I cant seem to focus on one thing.
I am missing the holidays, missing being at home everyday with my dogs, waking up when I wake up (normally at 7am). It is motivating me to get on top of my business, expand it and make it work. My dream is to work from home doing things I enjoy, trekking to a desk and working with nasty people 5 out of 7 days a week is not the life for me!
So I have busy with all kinds of different ideas and research today, website ideas, app ideas, logo ideas, craft ideas, so many ideas where do I even start............................

1 NOVEMBER 2012
With October done and dusted, November is here and with it a new set of problems.
This morning we received an email from our land lady informing us she is giving us notice to move out of our cottage by the end of the month. Now moving out for us is not a problem, we are planning to do that in any case but we are still waiting to hear about our house and when (being positive) when get our house, when will we be able to take occupation??? We can not rent another place in the mean time, it would cost too much to move twice and be a waste of time.
On top of this, she is trying to back date charges for a rent increase we were never notified about and extra money for my mom and brother staying with us. She is really crazy if she thinks she is getting a single cent from us as the toilet has been broken for over a month, the whole house flooded on the weekend damaging our furniture.
On a more positive note, the Standard Bank assessor has gone to assess or house today so holding thumbs they are going to offer us something!
Last night for Halloween we went to Bright Water Commons with the peeps from my boyfriends work. They had a whole festival where the kids could trick or treat, a haunted house and lots of goodies to waste your money on. We all just dressed up and went to Miginty's for a few drinks.

My Granny
My Granny has been very sick, she has a mass on her ovaries which looks to be cancerous. It was such a great relief to me speaking to her today and she sounded very upbeat and happy.
She has been in and out of the hospital the last few weeks having an op and scans and tests but today she was finally released and is now an out patient and she will be starting her chemo on the 13 Nov.
It has been very difficult for her in the hospital, she has spent her whole life sleeping next to my Grandpa every night and now to be sick and sleep in a strange place with 7 other women. I am glad she is home and think she will have a faster recovery in her own house her and my Grandpa built when they were newly weds.
XxXxXx Please pray for my Gran and everyone else with cancer.

Heart Break , a different kind
Thanks FNB for breaking my heart!
This morning we found out FNB has declined our home loan and they didn't even bother to let us know, we had to phone them. It is really disappointing as both myself and my boyfriend bank with FNB, we moved everything over to FNB, bank accounts, credit cards, loans etc and yet they are the first (and hopefully last) to decline us!
Our applications are still pending with the other banks but we have to wait about 5 more days to find out the results.

So here I am...
It has been over a year since I last blogged and I just used the loo and realised I have had my underwear on back to front the whole day and that triggered my thoughts towards blogging again...........so here i am.
The biggest thing happening in my life at the moment is I am trying to buy a house.
I am very proud of the fact that I am 25yr and my boyfriend 24yr, and we are buying a freaking HOUSE! We are going to own a piece of land, a piece of the world!
Buying a house is super hard, it is not like buying a car or getting a cellphone contract, it is an extremely long and complicated process.
At the moment, we have our OTP and we have submitted our docs to these bond originators. We will only know in 5 to 10 working day if we will be able to get a home loan! Today is only day 1 of what seems a million years to wait! Holding fingers and toes and getting more and more stressed as the seconds tick by!

Born Free
I finished my book Born Free by Joy Adamson, what an amazing book, I could not put it down.
It is the story of Joy and George Adamson who came to acquire 3 lion cubs. George had shot their mother when she tried to attack him but found out she was only protecting her cubs. They sent 2 of the lions to a zoo and kept one cub Elsa.
One of the aspects of the book that intrigues me most is the time in which they were living and where they were living. In 1956 there was no cellphone or computers, no xbox or ps3, they lived in rural Kenya which was not civilised. If they needed to go to the doctor, they had to travel for miles. There were no roads so getting a couple of flat tyres a day was normal and they fixed the tyres themselves. They lived off the land, there was no corner Spar to buy food. If they needed to correspond with someone, they had to write a letter and sent it with a runner, or send a telegram. They lived in tents where lions, elephant, rhinos etc also lived. It also amazes me that both Joy and George are no longer alive today, they were both murdered but not by dangerous animals but by man.

The story is of Elsa growing up with humans and living their lives, at 3 years they decide to release her into the wild and have to act as her pride, teaching her how to hunt and live in the wild without them. Else has 3 cubs while living in the wild, as she does not belong to another pride of lions there is no one to hunt for her while raising her babies, so Joy and George feed her and her babies while Else can not hunt for them. Else dies from a tick bite when her cubs are still to young to hunt for themselves, so Joy and George carry on feeding them.
The cubs then start raiding the locals livestock and so for them not to be killed Joy and George capture them and take them to the Serengetti National Park and release them there. They carry on feeding the cubs but soon after their release the cubs disappear and Joy never sees them again.
